Getting to Gent is quite straightforward. Here are some tips for you.
By plane and train...
If you come by (plane and) train, the best idea is to get off at "Gent Sint-Pieters" station, and take tram number 4. Get off at "Rabot", our campus is right across the street.
Brussel has two airports, both of them have a regular train connection with Gent. Brussels International Airport is the biggest airport. Brussels South is smaller and the train ride is a little longer. Flights are ususally much cheaper though.
There are about 3 trains per hour going from Brussels to Gent, so you shouldn't worry about train schedules. Also, there's no need to make a reservation for the train. If you do want to check the train schedules though, here's the link for it: Railways Belgium
By car...
If you come by car, it's a good idea to use google maps to plan your itinary. The map below shows where we are. There is a parking space at the campus.
